Never Let A Good Crisis Go To Waist, 2023

In their first exhibition, Never Let A Good Crisis Go To Waist, Abigail and Emily Doyle explore commodity fetishism and women’s ever-changing beauty. Throughout these pieces, they’ve unpacked the labour women experience to exist in their bodies. With bubbly imagery, pastel colours, and pastries they criticize their questionable consumption habits. Utilizing the media, celebrities, and pills they consume to inspire each piece, this exhibition is meant to intrigue women with relatability.
